Sweet – welcome to the 21st century.

But honestly, there aren’t a lot of smaller bands creating blogs and I fully encourage it.  There is nothing worse than sitting around for months waiting for a new album from your favorite band.  Don’t keep your fans waiting – post whatever garbage you made in your basement drunk last night!  Case in point:

And I’m not goofing on WM – I fuckin love those guys, see: Walter Meego gives much needed robot relief.  Honestly, I think it is awesome that they started a blog, got drunk, made a song, and posted it immediately for their fans to check out.  And it is even better because this band tends to lean towards an electro sound and this song is all acoustic guitar – these dudes have probably been giggling all day about that song.

Not that all bands are missing the blogosphere, but the ones that do have blogs tend to be the bigger ones and the blogs are pretty retarded – and clearly thought up by a marketing consultant.  For example, Chris Martin from Coldplay posts to his blog by writing notes on a piece of paper and then someone scans them in and posts them on the web – WTF?  Are you retarded?  What am I saying, clearly Chris Martin is too much of a musical genius to waste his time learning how to use a computer.
