Ok, I’ll admit it… I’m digging up some relatively dated music and bringing it forth unto The Muffin world again but I came across a new live album of Brazilian beauty Vanessa da Mata’s – Multishow Ao Vivo – which was also released on DVD, and I had to give her some love. I don’t speak Portugese and really don’t have a clue what she’s saying in any of her songs but her style is truly one of a kind and 100% outstanding. I don’t know what they put in the water in Brazil but it seems like the people have soul to spare. Ms. da Mata’s latest studio album – Sim – has a duet with Ben Harper – Boa Sorte/Good Luck that ranks pretty high on my list of ladykillers. Have a listen, dig in and get down.
