Oops.  I have totally been neglecting our Fridays.  Well anyways, there weren’t a lot of albums to pick up today (except for All-American Rejects of course – just kidding).  Enjoy your rainy tuesday folks.

My song of the week is Nonpareil of Favor by Of Montreal. It took me a little while to warm up to their new album, but as a Bowie fan, there is no way I could not come to love their sound. This very eclectic album, Skeletal Lamping, would be a perfect holiday gift for an avid arobicizer or your local barista. – Foote

Heard this a little after midnight on KCRW as I was driving home from Disneyland in the rain.  The track is produced by Sufjan Stevens, seemed serendipitous at the time. – Frank

Love the Welcome Wagon song.. It’s a Danielson Famile cover. And I TOTALLY know what you mean about the “This one’s for Maggie…” part of the SR song! Brilliant.
