This Thursday (April 29th) Audio Muffin heads back to one of our SoCal choice venues, The Belly Up, to catch up with a San Diego favorite, Transfer. The band won Best Rock at the San Diego Music Awards 2009 in line with the release of their most recent LP, Future Selves. Transfer has been around since 2006 when they released their first full length, Faded Signal, and their first single, “Sinking Sailing” which was produced by Brian Karscig from Louis XIV. The band has been adorned with local admiration from the San Diego music community and has created their own label and publishing company Obscure Magpie Records/Music which has ultimately worked with and produced a solid score of bands as well. Transfer will be headlining the show this Thursday night and will be graced with the opening stylings of The Drowning Men and Miss Erika Davies. Click here for tickets!
