Namaste Muffins. It is with great excitement that I present to you Part Two of my collaboration project with my friend Chris AKA Ace Reporter. If you will recall, Part One of our journey down the vocal-visual rabbithole involved me taking pictures inspired by songs I had chosen from Ace Reporter’s 365 Project — for the second installation, Ace Reporter combed through the archives of my photo-a-day undertaking, selected 7 pictures and then spent a week writing a new song inspired by each photographs. I would imagine it is very rare that people get an opportunity to hear their photographs come to life like this, so for me this is all sorts of amazing and I’m really impressed with creative sounds Chris crafted for these pics. You can click on the pictures to go thru to the Ace Reporter post for each song where Chris offers up lyrics and his thought process behind some of his sonic creations. We’ve got some more stuff up our collective sleeves for you a little later down the road, but for now feast your eyes and ears on the latest photo-musical mashup from your boys Train and Ace!

I’ve liked all the Ace Reporter songs from this project. But I gotta say, it is a lot funner seeing what music comes from the photos rather than the other way around. This article was a lot of fun to look at the photo, see the song title, and then think, “Where is this gonna go?”
