Yes, you read that right, Jim Jones (yup, this Jim Jones) and The Black Keys are teaming up as Blakroc to bring you a collabo album for the ages.  The project, spearheaded by the Keys, Damon Dash, J. Jones and the Keys’ manager, features a ridiculously impressive guest list including…well, I don’t want to spoil it for you, peep the trailer below (and be sure to watch out for a certain ‘Chef’ reading lyrics off his ‘berry)…

The self-titled album is due out November 27th AKA Black Friday and promises to be interesting to say the least.  I must confess, I was very surprised to learn that Jim Jones had anything to do with this – I mean, the man has been a prominent resident of Dudsville for a while now.  But who knows, maybe he’s finally starting to grow some musical chops, after all he was smart enough to hop on a remix of ‘Day n Night’ with white-hot hype-magnet Kid Cudi earlier this year.  But I digress….check out the first song from the Blakroc LP below and keep your browser tuned to the Muffin for more details in the near future. Baaaaaallin!
