Problem? What problem?

What do you get when you mix together glitter, plush toys, roses, and a bubble machine; add a dash of fake blood, and equal parts New Order and Nu Metal? Sound like a disaster? Nope- it’s a little bit of magic called Spider Problem. Everything about this band is something of a contradiction, and that’s precisely what makes them great.
Two of the members, John and Johnny, have done their time in several other bands and projects over the years (Aberdeen, Languis, Fonda, C86 All Stars, William Tell etc…) while the other two are somewhat novices. Shane is a creative yet destructive force; she has a tendency to tear the place up, and Chris is a powerhouse on drums. All together, they are formidable. But the best thing about this band is that they don’t take themselves too seriously, and they have a great time live. They put on a high energy show- frequently attacking each other physically, and they often end up in a heap somewhere near the drum kit.
Their next show is coming up at The Scene on November 1st , with another great band, Kissing Tigers. Be there, or be square. In the meantime, check out these tracks from their new release Arocknophobia.
