Twitter logs are popping off and I’m monitoring a list of immediate to dos, however, more often than not, I will grab the laptop and head down to the control room to do my business from the intimate vantage point directly behind the audio engineers for KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic. It looks like this:

With little expectation, I sat down behind the audio engineer for Owen Pallett and started pecking at my work, only to have my mind quickly blown to bits by a looping layering blipping and blooping fronted by this sick academic no bullshitter with some sick classical fiddlin and an odd smooth round depth of voice. It was a personal bliss to witness a merge of classical instrumentation with the auditory insanity that I so enjoy in modern electro-pop.

I’m still working my way through Heartland.
