I am addicted to the thought of aimlessly traveling around the world. I have caught myself constantly skimming through travel books, studying maps and even my musical taste seems to have taken on somewhat of a wandering persona. I am not quite sure what that means, but I will say that the tunes I have been listening to lately would, if compiled, make an excellent soundtrack for a nomadic journey.

One such artist that has found his way back into heavy rotation is singer/songwriter Kelley Stoltz. His catchy ballads and vocal variances puts me on a train as I make my way through the Nordic countries. If you don’t know about Mr. Stoltz, I hope you are taking notes. He has been around for about ten years, but unfortunately, the only time you may have heard him is when “Birdies Singing” was on a Volvo commercial. He has opened for The Raconteurs and Echo and The Bunnymen and has a new album due out in October of this year on Sub-Pop called The Dreamers. Hopefully I will be picking up that album in a record store in some far off land.

(enjoy some music).
