I’m perpetually fascinated by simple shit in life because I feel like some of the most fulfilling experiences are those that can’t really be properly communicated and have to be shared between friends with the predication of “dude, trust me… you’ll love this…”
Such is life listening to the fine audio stylings of Jon & Roy. The duo hail from our well-behaved neighbor to the north and create some of the most finely understated acoustic sounds I’ve heard in a long while. The music is mellow, simple and exactly what you might expect from a teacher and a chef who decided the real world wasn’t exactly what they dreamed about growing up and found that sleeping in their cars, traveling and playing music to whoever might have a listen was worth a go-round for bit. God Bless’em.

The latest album Another Noon is filled with all kinds of beautiful stuff that’s tough to pindown and explain, but I can guarantee your ears will thank you for the love… trust me.

Wow, well described.
I like it. I was also thinking that both of these songs would be perfect in a wistful road trip movie montage…
