In the spirit of the coming rain, here is a band that recalls walking down a rain- slicked London high street circa 1967. My favorite quote that describes this band is “Think of your favorite ’60s pop band and odds are they’re in the Clientele’s blood. ”

While they get the occasional comparison to Felt or Galaxie 500, they have claimed their own sound and manage to create fantastic moods with their records. Hazy, lush and melodic, this London- based band formed in 1997, and have managed to release a new album every 2 years. Here is the opening track from Suburban Light, I Had to Say This.
