Some things are undebatable, like who is the greatest band of all time? Easy, ZZ Top. How many times have you been in your car when ZZ comes on the radio and you freak out and lose control of your vehicle. Answer: Trick question. Every time. It happens every time. It’s unreal.
Next, what is the greatest TV show of all time? Again, it’s easy, Charles in Charge. I mean how many times can Charles screw up and also manage to save the day and then everybody learns a lesson? Answer: Trick question once again. It doesn’t matter, it will never get old.
Lastly, somtimes family gatherings over the holidays ain’t so bad. Take for instance, if two of your cousins happen to be dating those who are musically inclined then there is least some topical music discussion. As an added bonus, (no longer a hypothetical… ) one of them was able to give me some tracks from his numerous projects. Sweet. Sean Moore from Viernes sent me the first track below which gets more addicting every time I hear it. He also co-wrote the second track below with Miguel Miranda from Fall Apart Machine. I dig the sound these guys put out so enjoy everyone.
Side Note: Both the tunes coincide well with the release of the new Animal Collective (see two posts below). I also threw in a treat from the Talking Heads that can’t seem to escape my car rock sessions. It best serves as a shout out to Ad Rock out there in the freezing cold.
