i know what you are thinking – frank, my brain can’t decipher your tone of voice when you don’t capitalize your letters. tell that to helicopters, cause they don’t capitalize shit!
i’ll be honest, i don’t know the accuracy of that statement, but when it comes to their name, leave your shift key untouched.
what are we getting with this helicopter band? music. on their press sheet they have a laundry list of popular groups they sound like – and i’d say a lot of them are fairly accurate – but i’m not here to pigeonhole anyone, especially a band of this caliber.
do you remember the first time you heard fleet foxes or ra ra riot? helicopters is kinda like that, it just sounds new, refreshing, and simply awesome – one of the few bands i’ve heard this year that can hook you on the first listen and keep your interest on the tenth…in a single day!
and if you are still confused as to what exactly helicopters sounds like, how ’bout “slow moving pop filled with lush melodies and scratchy electro noises keeping time”.

this is pretty great! capitalization is nothing without commas. commas are the real hero… and ellipses.
