Graeme Shepard is charging the electronic-pop scene with fury. This fresh UK bloke operates musical magic under stage name, GRUM. Graeme has released his first album, Heartbeats in May of this year. The album has an unusual maturity to its sound, with levels of Cut Copy and Daft Punk-quality in the dance inspiring beats and vocals. GRUM is actively spreading the good word through a guerrilla style poster and art work campaign, a formal introduction to the world courtesy of artist David Ross whose stylings are best remembered for the promotion of Mylo’s Destroy Rock and Roll album.

GRUM is on tour right now and will be speeding up L.A.’s heartbeat in late July @ The Avalon and will be in Seattle and SF that same week as well. For more on tour information, check out GRUM’s myspace. Be sure to pick up GRUM’s debut album on iTunes here…
