The Fleet Foxes got a quick mention on Audiomuffin, but I thought I’d expand upon it, since I’ve just recently gone through their repertoire for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. Hailing from Seattle on Sub Pop records, they describe their music as “baroque harmonic pop jams”. They’ve been compared to Animal Collective (“Winter White Hymnal”), the Beach Boys and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
