As I was perusing Foote’s rather excellent Labor Day mix post, I realized that I had some jams that had yet to make it into the wonderful world of the Muffin. I don’t think I could dedicate an entire post to each of these songs, but it seemed almost negligent to leave these auditory delights by the wayside. Also, I needed something to do while Gmail was down today, so I channeled my time-wasting abilities towards making a post. Some of these songs sound like the end of summer – which may explain why they have been creeping up the play count list lately – others are just jams which, for some reason or another, recently recaptured my attention somehow. So until I come back with my next post (hint: rhymes with ‘Schmand Schmarchives’) why don’t you kick those flip-flops off, sit back in your favorite easy chair and enjoy some random jams….(that kinda sounds like the intro to Offspring’s Smash – I know you know what I’m talking about).
