Who here likes Shout Out Louds?? Okay, hands down everyone - both hands Sydney C – and get to reading because your friend Train (thanks to B) has some tasty news for you to snack on…

Two and a half years after releasing one of my favorite albums of ’07 (Our Ill Wills) Sweden’s maestros of melody are now gearing up to drop album number three on the world.  Simply titled Work, the album will be out on February 23, 2010 via Merge and I’m kinda N64 kid excited about it.  There’s not too much info out right now, but I know that production duties were handled by Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses, The Shins) and recording studio duties were swiftly handled by Bear Creek Studio in Seattle.  I’m sure there will be a U.S. tour supporting the album later in the year, but as of right now the only stateside date announced is March 1, 2010 at Music Hall of Williamsburg.  Yours truly will be in attendance, so scoop up a ticket HERE and stop by for a high fives and brewdogs come showtime…

Now I know what else you’re thinking because I’m thinking it too – Merge needs to hire Big (of Rob & Big and general ‘Do Work son!’ fame) to go on a media blitz to promote this album.  Slap a Shout Out Louds shirt on the man, let him get up to his usual hijinks and watch the albums fly off the shelves….or not – I’m not in marketing so I don’t know.  Either way, the first single (‘Walls’) and making-of video from the new album are included below, as well as ‘South America’ from Our Ill Wills.  By the way, if you can resist air-violining to ‘South America’ then you are a far stronger person than I am.
