Wes Miles, frontman for Ra Ra Riot and Rostam Batmanglij, keys specialist for Vampire Weekend have teamed up in collabo-side-project fashion to bring us a series of jams just in time for the summer. The two New York musicians, who were coincidentally members of two of 2008’s hottest bands, will be releasing their first LP officially on July 7th in the US. The self-titled album will be released on XL Recordings (Vampire Weekend’s label). The album is suited for summer fun with contagious synth beats, re-mixed samples and a myriad of piano jams.
