Devandra is kind of the man. He used to date Natalie Portman too so I mean he must be doing something right. He’s also named after a Hindu god so he’s an overall winner Sydney. Great song.
This is a good tune. Realize I’m a little late here, but Banhart has a previous album out there called ‘Rejoicing in the Hands’ that I’m familiar with. Compared to this song, I’d call his older stuff idiosyncratic, if that means anything to anyone. I believe he has been called the father of ‘Freak Folk’. Although this new song doesn’t sound like it belongs in that genre.
