This southern California based pack of trashcan banging free spirits have become a household name. Their live performances are captivating and their albums are soundtracks of experience. In their music, they have somehow managed to capture the core, story-telling nature of American folk rock all whilst infusing the electric energy of pop music. You know, the jams that get you to jump, yell and sing along. Delta Spirit’s latest release captures the essence of the band and its influences. I first heard about Delta Spirit via B’s previous Muffin post in 2008. This new album is great!
