Cover Me…I’m Going In.

Short and sweet today folks.

I have somehow managed to amass a mini-collection of cover songs over the past few weeks, and I thought I’d share them with the Muffin. I know that some people may not be especially fond of this ‘genre’, but I am definitely an all out cover lover. Given that the originals are some of my favorite songs of ‘08, it’s always interesting to hear them interpreted by different artists. Check it:

Dude!! I was honestly gonna write up a cover post, but damn, yours is way better than I had envisioned mine to be. I hadn’t even heard three of the songs you posted, including the electric light parade inspired Fleet Foxes cover…by the way, is Ruby Isle the best cover band or what? And that Rhymefest cover is awesome.

Huge Ruby Isle fan here, they have a bunch of sweet covers. Plus they have a song with the ‘Chocolate Rain’ dude - doesn’t get more badass than that.

Bree, you’re funny. Ummm, I’m not sure because I use a dual button mouse for my Mac, but maybe hold down shift when you click on the link? Or maybe it is CRTL? That’s about the best you’re gonna get from the Muffin tech support. Here is another one for ya, LCD Soundsystem cover (my fav):
