Three picks for the three days remaining until the festival. I’m getting pretty excited about night swimming and a desert full of stars to go along with the mind blow of music we will see. There are lots of acts to get excited about and decisions are hard! These are a few that I’m not willing to miss.

Jonsi

I’m looking very much forward to seeing my first pixie live and in person. Jonsi is the front man for Sigur Ros and I’m in love with his happy falsetto, can’t wait to hear it in person, I hope I’m dangerously close to a speaker.

If we’ve both got the same disease then its irrelevant girl. That’s philosophy…..

Avett Brothers

This will be my first opportunity to see my The Avett Brothers on stage alongside friends and fellow authors. I’ve beat them all with my affection for these NC avant roots renegades. I’ve also got backstage passes, so I could conceivably attack. It will be nice to get a little taste of home.
