I recently discovered Metric after I recently discovered Feist, and then I went on to recently discover that they both play together in Canadian band Broken Social Scene, as well as having successful solo careers on the side. Emily Haines, frontman of Metric, even has another side project called “Emily Haines and the Soft Skeletons”. Musicians must have so much spare time…

So I heard Metric on my favorite college radio station and then I had to sit around in the car until they announced who it was. That’s the kind of regular endeavor I put myself through for this blog (for which I dearly wish I had more spare time to spend on). I will work on learning how to multi-task, so that I may find great new music while I work, like some of my favorite authors here on audiomuffin. In the meantime, please enjoy Metric.
