let’s chat about something that has happened here in NC. Bombadil happened. (label mates of Muffin Fav Avett Brother’s - formally of Ramseur Records). They have a new album coming out JULY 7 called Tarpits and Canyonlands and bottom line, go buy it.

This band has a zany appeal that stretches out past a folklore that harkens back to regional roots, its reach is a little further into a new sound that I won’t dare put my finger on with any adjectives. I can’t find any that are suitable. Just take my word that its an original sound and evokes a feeling…….. a feeling that makes my heart happy, like I’ve learned a few good lessons, had a laugh or two and maybe reflected on what the future has to hold for my big Bombadil soul. Never more than now does this band need you to support them with the purchase of their album. Bandmate Daniel suffers from arthritis and subsequently they had to cancel any touring for an indefinite amount of time. We wish him a speedy recovery and wait with baited breath that this band can continue to evolve and create beautiful music.
