I’ve been laying here listening to this music over and over and wondering about nice boys and if they are a myth. I like to listen to music that confirms their existence. So this post is gonna be a guilty exploration of a few new, or new to me albums containing the kind of music that is fodder for my girlish dreams.

This album has been on the Audio Muffin radar for too long and a post is long overdue. These boys are sweet with harmonies that make my heart melt a bit and I’m sure they’d never leave you feeling anything less than perfect. The album came out in 2008 and we were even lucky enough to send one of the Muffin Street team members to a show with the help of In Music We Trust PR. A thank you also goes out to my friend Azalea who played them at a cookout recently, and helped me to get completely stuck on them. Buy the Album – 3 Rounds and a Sound – here |

This is a new release and I’ve been slowly warming up to it. Fruit Bats are definitely one of my personal favorite bands of the last decade so this album was so highly anticipated. and as mentioned…. I’m just warming up to it… Its taking awhile, but there’s been a lot of exceptional music in my life lately. So – I’m gonna give you the really sweet slow song to listen to, b/c truly what I love love love about this band is their ability to transport me into a world of imaginary romance. So, here’s your make out music. Buy the Album – The Ruminant Band – here |

This is another new release by a band that I already fell in love with once or twice before. I think that Troll Nacht is the one that is gonna set my heart aflutter. Harmony drives my fleeting crush, and they’ve backed it up with that deep passionate bass that I love about their sound. Buy the Album – Time to Die – here |
